KARE is proud to present the 2015 Fall Leadership Tour. Tour attendees will learn from and meet industry professionals in this two day event in Northern Siskiyou County. Attendees will see the latest practices for improving forest health, reducing the risk of catastrophic wildfire, and managing public and private forests in California. We encourage community leaders, professionals and educators to RSVP and attend. This event is free and is open to the first 50 RSVP’s.

Mission Statement

KARE is a 501(c)(3) grassroots, non-profit organization dedicated to the responsible, multiple uses of our natural resources on public lands; protection of private property rights; and the economic vitality of our communities. KARE’s purpose is to promote the efficient and responsible management and utilization of forests and forestland for the production of forest products and to inform and educate the general public regarding the benefits to be derived through proper management of forest resources.
